About

About Me

I’m a neurodivergent British-born Chinese woman with a strong interest in neurodiversity, person-centred support, and accessibility. I also have long-standing interests in autism, ADHD, mental health, and women’s health. My perspective is shaped by lived experience and education, alongside engagement with community knowledge, research and evidence-informed practice.

I believe individuals should be recognised as experts of their own experience, with intersectionality acknowledged as a normal part of people’s lives rather than an exception. I favour needs-based approaches to understanding support needs, in the context of a person’s strengths, challenges, preferences, circumstances and environment, rather than primarily through diagnostic labels.
