Access to Work

Overview

Access to Work can help people get or stay in work if they have a physical or mental condition or disability. It does not replace or pay for Reasonable Adjustments.

It can help fund support, including:

  • A grant to help pay for support
  • Support with managing mental health at work
  • Payment towards communication support at job interviews
  • Assistive equipment, tools and software
  • Support workers
  • Transport costs
  • Vehicle adaptations
  • Physical changes to the workplace
  • Training
  • Specialist coaching
